Bill Philip was born in 1946 and grew up in Scotland. He has always been influenced by the power of landscape, mountains, lochs and the sea. Echoes of these early influences can be seen in his paintings and photographs. Complex contemplation is a serene canvas worthy of your time with almost any type of threads. Measures 11″ x 16.5″ to get the breadth of the image. Create a commanding wall display or a bolster pillow for a comfy seating area or bed. Great in any stitch or combination of stitches, and we are happy to provide some stitch suggestions if you wish to do more than the continental or basketweave throughout.
