Georges Seurat first used Pointillism (a technique that uses many small dots of color) and is most famous for A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of Le Grande Jatte. A Sunday Afternoon has become synonymous with his name, as the most recognized of his many paintings in his short lived career. However, he painted many beautiful works including Clouds which measures 12.5″ x 14″ – the smaller of several sizes – on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are equally happy to select and add appropriate silk/merino wool blend or silk threads to help complete. Available in alternate sizes. Please indicate your mesh preference in the Notes section at Checkout. Please contact us if you would like us to add the fibers of your choice.
