Maria Sibylla Merian was a fine painter and superb naturalist, one of the first woman scientists we know of. Her observations of insects and their relationships with plants revolutionized botany and zoology. This beautiful Bromelliad measures 10″ x 15″ – the smaller of several sizes – on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe canvas. We are happy to select and add appropriate silk or silk/merino wool blend threads to help complete this canvas. If you prefer an alternate size, there are two larger sizes available.
