Our Be Well Series is inspired by one of Mother Nature’s most magnificent achievements – the human body! The series includes health and disease. It’s a look at the microscopic level of our bodies – of neurons, cells, organs – which are wonderfully structured and interesting. The images are for the most part greatly enlarged images as seen with various different types of microscopes which have been colorized by an artist or a research facility or medical institution. We have not altered any images. To honor our bodies, health and medicine, the Art Needlepoint Company will send a significant percentage of every Be Well kit to a particular charity. This kit includes an 8″ x 10″ breast cancer cell as seen with a microscope on 14mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas and all the merino wool or silk threads needed to complete.
