Description
American Indian warrior in a belted tunic and laced sandals carrying a bow and an arrow. In the original he is embroidered entirely using tent stitches. The top of a quiver full of arrows is visible behind his back. Blue-green feathers decorate his headdress and tunic. The ground is worked all over in 2/2 cross-stitches using brown and black wool. You can use the same cross or continental stitch throughout or a mix a background stitch with the tent. We are happy to provide some suggestions for background stitches other than basketweave.
