Description
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Albert Herman Schmidt was a founding member of the Santa Fe, New Mexico Art Colony. Although he painted portraits, he was primarily known for his landscapes inspired by his awe of the
expanse of Northern New Mexico. Adobe and Cottonwoods is a great example of his delicate touch and use of light. Measures 8″ x 11.5″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.
