During the long winter months in Scandinavia, daylight only lasts a few hours. North of the Arctic Circle, for several days the sun never even rises above the horizon! The Christmas holidays bring welcome cheer during this cold and gloomy period. Traditional woolen stockings are enlivened with stylized wintery motifs such as spruce trees, snowflakes and reindeer. Reindeer and snowflakes Christmas stocking is one of Nordic Inspired Christmas Stockings. Measures 12″ x 20.5″ long – more in keeping with the customary size for Scandinavian stockings. If you would like to add an area along the top so to showcase a name then the stocking will measure 21″ long. Kit includes the canvas, a print for color reference, a gold needle, scissor and all the silk threads – the more durable of all the threads we stitch with, to help complete this beautiful canvas. Available on 14, 16, or 18 mesh. Please indicate your mesh preference in the Notes section at Checkout. Will send the standard 14 mesh if you do not provide a preference.
