Artist Traci O’Very Covey says she likes to draw and paint cups and their saucers. Their myriad shapes, colors and patterns are easily invented in her mind’s eye and this ongoing series is a fabulous collection to stitch and collect. Drinking Bird Cup is a picture within a picture – inviting you to stitch the whole canvas in any one of the tent stitches or employ some texture with decorative stitches.
