Known for her intricately cut paper collages of flowers, Mary Delany was a supreme artist who began her art form in her early seventies in the 1700’s. Her handmade paper mosaics are often mistaken for paintings. Thistle measures 12″ x 16″ on 14, 16, or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.
