A spectacular stop on our World Tour, Bagneres-de-Bigorre in the Pyrenees may be familiar as it hosts the Tour de France each year. Or you may know of it because people have come to it over centuries to take the waters and the "cure", as it is surrounded by mountains with the River Ardour running through its centre. A most elegant and yet relaxed town for anyone wanting a perfect destination. We love the colors and use of light in this canvas. It is a great project for the beginner looking for a larger project, as well as the more experienced stitcher looking for a novel piece for a bathroom, bedroom or entry way.
