Pen and ink and watercolor blended for a soft effect. Durer, a central figure in the German Renaissance, worked with oil, watercolor and gouache on paper, but this Virgin in a multitude of animals is one of the few we know of that uses pen, ink and watercolor. We find the piece spectacular. Will make an amazing and commanding piece for a wall, measuring 15" x 20".  Available as 14 or 18 mesh Zweigart canvas.
