Product Description

American Indian warrior in a belted tunic and laced sandals carrying a bow and an arrow.  In the original he is embroidered entirely using tent stitches.  The top of a quiver full of arrows is visible behind his back.  Blue-green feathers decorate his headdress and tunic. The ground is worked all over in 2/2 cross-stitches using brown and black wool.  You can use the same cross or continental stitch throughout or a mix a background stitch with the tent. We are happy to provide some suggestions for background stitches other than basketweave.  Measures 12" x 16" on  12, 14, or 16 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.  If you wish to work this on a 12 count, we will be happy to provide tapestry wool, or merino wool or silk threads for all other count.  Please contact us if you would like to add your choice of fibers to this canvas.  Available in alternate sizes.
