Description
Monet painted many waterlilies as he was a consummate gardener and so admired the tranquility of a waterlilly pond. We chose one that is easier to stitch to create a gorgeous and unique tote you will treasure forever. The tote you see is a suggestion of how it can be finished. The canvas stitching area is 13.5” h x 18″ w on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. Once stitched the front of the bag is the needlepoint, the other side a fabric of your choosing or our finisher will choose or you can stitch another canvas similarly sized and have a two sided tote (one suggestion for the other side is shown below). We show ours with a fabric trim, but you do not have to add a fabric trim to the canvas. It can be made to be slouchy with no bottom or finished with a leather or fabric bottom so that it can hold it’s shape a bit. Have it lined and finished with long leather straps and you have an extraordinary tote!. Our finisher creates wonderful bags, but you can finish this yourself once the canvas is completed and blocked. We are happy to select appropriate threads to help complete this canvas. Please indicate your mesh preference in the Notes section at Checkout and whether you want it with the picture on one side or both sides. Please contact us if you would like us to add the fibers of your choice.
