Description
The Green Man was “made part of the vocabulary of ornament established earlier by the artists and architects of the Renaissance in Italy”. Mantegna’s self portrait as a Green Man can be found in the Ducal Palace, c. 1474. Kit includes a 9.5″ x 14″ – the smaller of several sizes – on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas and all the pretty threads needed to complete. Available in alternate sizes.
