Description
Born in Maine where his English parents settled with their nine children. He changed his forename from Edmund to Marsden in his early twenties. Art studies in USA, and later relocated to Berlin where he continued to paint and became friends with Kandinsky and Marc, painting in the style of abstract expressionism. Arroyo Hondo is a departure from the geometric and use of bold colors, showing his fondness for landscapes painted mostly from memory. Measures 10″ x 15″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We will be happy to select and add all mandarin floss, silk/merino wool blend or silk threads to help complete.
