Product Description

This is for the deposit toward our retreat at Winterthur Library and Gardens Museum in Delaware on March 23-25, 2018 , which holds your space for this three day stitching learning fun event.  The $1500 event registration fee includes everything but your hotel if you are not local and we will be sending a list of hotels that you can book at a special rate and will be glad to answer any and all questions.  Join like minded people in a gorgeous setting with very experienced teachers and knowledgable textile curators.  The retreat will include a weekend of tours, lectures by guest speakers who are textile curators, a selection of 12 kits to choose from, and classes taught by very experienced needlepointers who will provide instruction, guidance and their passionate insights into a life well stitched.  All skill levels are welcome.  You can choose your kits at any time prior to the event. Click here for a link to all the kits - several of which are created exclusively for the retreat.   The balance for the event must be paid in full by October 15, 2017. The schedule of events will be sent thereafter via email or by mail -whatever your preference, - a few months before the event.  And if you wish to bring a child from 10 years old to 18 years old, s/he comes free - and we ask that you let us know the name and age of the child when you make your reservation. You can also pay in full and save 10% by clicking here.  The fee for the retreat includes everything you need - except your hotel and travel if you do not live locally.  The retreat includes:

  • see museum pieces not seen by the general public
  • tours of the museum and gardens
  • lectures by guest textile curators
  • one and a half hour and three hour classes each day
  • food during the day and evenings
  • merriment and take home goodies
  • take part in one or two classes, depending on what you wish to learn
