Description
Edward Hicks was a Quaker and preacher, who transitioned into a life of painting full time. Due to the Quaker beliefs which prohibited a lavish life or having excessive quantities
of objects or material he used his canvases to convey his beliefs. He painted various separate paintings of the Peaceable Kingdom. Peaceable Kingdom on a Branch is framed by a wonderful quote – which you can stitch or not depending on your preference. Available on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.
