Georges Seurat first used Pointillism (a technique that uses many small dots of color) in A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of Le Grande Jatte. A Sunday Afternoon has become synonymous with his name, as the most recognized of his many paintings in his short lived career. Measures 19" x 26" on 14 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We prefer silk or cotton threads for this piece, but are equally happy to select and add appropriate wool, silk or pearle cotton threads to help complete. Available in a smaller size. Please indicate your mesh preference in the Notes section at Checkout. Please contact us if you would like us to add the fibers of your choice.
