Love the botanicals, but are intimated by the shading? Here’s a beautiful rose in miniature to help you concentrate of shading and texture if you feel so inclined to use more than a tent stitch throughout. We recommend silk threads, either a stranded silk that you divide or an easy to use silk that does not need to be divided. We are happy to suggest stitches for the background and the rose. Measures 6″ x 6.5″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. Create a small canvas for framing, use as an ornament, , as an inset of a small pillow, or pair with our trivet holder (shown below) and make a pretty trivet.
