A friend of Matisse, Leger, Modigliani and others, Gris is best considered a Cubist painter, whose insight and technique expanded the worlds of art and theater (created ballet costumes for Sergei Diaghilev and the famous Ballet Russes). One of his more colorful paintings, Landscape with Houses in Ceret, is adapted to 14 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.  Kit includes a 21.5" x 34" mono deluxe needlepoint canvas and all the wool threads needed to complete.
