Max Liebermann (1847 - 1935) once considered a highly controversial artist and also one of the most important artists of his time, he is often celebrated as the German Manet.  We admire much of his extensive body of work and find Two Riders on the Beach irresistible!  A delight to stitch in silk threads.  Measures 13" x 16" on 14 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.
