Mid 16th century French painter, Nicolas Poussin  is known for his classical style. Assumption of the Virgin is one of his more recognized paintings, and a fairly easy canvas. Arresting color and drama makes this equally nice as a cushion as when framed in an elegant frame. Measures 18" x 24"" for a less challenging piece on 14 mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.
