Matisse
was a master of color, whose artistic career lasted for more than a
half century. Remembered as a Modern artist, he painted many different
and differing styles, from Impressionism to the Abstract. Though
many people would not associate him with still lifes, he produced a
wide array of beautiful still lifes. Spanish Still Life is a canvas that requires some patience, but shall reward
