Henri Rousseau was a Post Impressionist painter from France whose work is largely considered Primitive, but has since his death been regarded as a self taught genius. Landscape with Cattle is a charming canvas. A particularly good choice for the beginner looking for a more sophisticated work without being overly challenging. A good choice to begin or add to a folk art or “primitive” collection. Measures 14″ x 18″ on 14 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. We are partial to wool threads, but are equally happy to select appropriate wool, silk or perle cotton threads. Also available in a 12 mesh.
