We offer only Zweigart needlepoint canvas,makers of the finest quality needlepoint canvases in the world. We ensure that each and every canvas' scale and color are just as the artists intended. Our customers have loved stitching our canvases for many years, and we're confident that you will too.

Why choose a canvas from The Art Needlepoint Co.? They are the best quality, they are both affordable and attractive, and there are hundreds of them! If you are as addicted to needlepoint as we are, we think you will enjoy our eclectic and exclusive range of canvases. However, if you love an artist or specific artwork that you can't seem to find in our collection, let us know and we will do our best to customize a canvas for you.

A large number of our canvases are sold as canvas only, meaning they are not yet kitted on the website. We do however select appropriate wool, pearle cotton, silk or metallic threads - or any combination therein - for every canvas we offer.  In addition to helping to ensure that you receive all the necessary and appropriate colors for your canvas, we will also assist you with a stitch guide and or a color chart.  If you desire either a color placement chart or a stitch guide, please contact us by phone or email.

We can customize nearly any image to a mesh size that best suits your needs, and we can customize most images to different sizes. Just ask!

Our selection grows weekly and many canvases go on special for a limited time, so please come by often and check us out.

Our Threads

We carry the complete selection of Anchor Pearle Cotton, Anchor Tapestry Wool, Elsa Williams Wool, Needlepoint Inc. Silk, Paternayan, Kreinik, and various other Speciallty Overdyes and Combination threads.

If you need thread at any time, no matter the quantity, please contact us with your request.

Shipping and Returns

Happy customers are the best customers. It is important to us that you are happy with your selections, so take your time when making your choices.

Over the years, we have very few returns and respond to and resolve any concern you may have in a timely and courteous manner. The most common reasons for returns are below.

In the event that you receive a canvas you selected and upon receipt find it a daunting challenge, we ask that you phone or email us before a return. In all circumstances, we will accept returns or exchange for a different canvas, providing the canvas is returned within 20 days of the purchase date. In the event that you receive a damaged canvas (rarely,and usually by the carrier) please call or email us and we will be glad to quickly send a substitute canvas. In the event you receive a canvas that is either defective or the wrong item, a replacement will be sent promptly upon notification.

Kits can be returned should it arrive damaged or you are sent the wrong one in error. Special order threads to complete a canvas (threads which do not come as a kit), custom threads or partial skeins or hanks cannot be returned. If you need to cancel an order please call or email us within 48 hours of your purchase as we strive to ship all orders within four days of purchase.

We ship US Mail Priority Mail to all of the United States, and will gladly ship international airmail to many other countries. For heavier orders, we ship UPS or Fed Ex. If you require expedited delivery please call or email us to let us know. All orders are normally processed and shipped within four to five business days.

Please note that all canvases are unfinished canvas. Unless otherwise noted -- such as products that are listed as kits -- canvases do not come with yarn or thread. Refunds or returns will no longer be considered if you buy a canvas believing it to be a finished piece of needlepoint canvas or if you thought your canvas came with threads when sold as canvas only.
