Zuan refers to sketches or preliminary drafts for use in the decorative arts. This three paneled Zuan is from the late Meiji period and was originally designed for details of a kimono. We put the three together to create an interesting canvas. Kit includes an 8" x 12" 14 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas and all the wool or pearle cotton threads needed to complete.
