We wanted to share some of the details of a very special needlepoint.
The talented stitcher is the aunt of the young woman getting married.
She and her sister have
designed the Chuppah (wedding canopy) that the couple will stand beneath.
In the middle
of this long and beautiful Chuppah is this fabulously stitched
needlepoint!
The background is rich with different textures - the colors pop and the love apparent.
A Chuppah is a canopy or covering which symbolizes the home that the couple will build together.
If the home they build together is anything like their Chuppah it will be a glorious, richly colored and happy home.
