Response to mindful needlepoint in your newsletter

Hi. I  received my Botanical and Dragonfly canvas on the same day as your newsletter arrived in my email. I wanted to say thanks for such a beautiful project, but really for the relationship I have already started with this canvas. I look at it and see it is pregnant with possibility. This project will give me time to sit quietly with myself, no phones, no emails, no work, just pleasure. Mindful of that now when I stitch. Thanks again! Aline

Aline, I too have the Botanical and Dragonfly but have not yet started it. What thread are you using? Silk, wool?

Hi. I am using silk. I love it. Have you ever stitched iwth silk before?

I am going to use crewel wool. I can just hear Doreen groan. I have not used just silk, however I have used wool and silk blends. I still prefer wool for most things. When you finish the canvas, post a photo on the site if that is possible. Happy stitching.
